HTAFC Ladies have completed two exciting signings in Rosie Gill and Beth Davies ahead of the 2019/20 season.
At 20-years-old, right winger Gill has already represented Bradford, Sheffield Utd and Guiseley Vixens, while 21-year-old Davies plays in the centre midfield, with former clubs including Leeds United, Brighouse and Guiseley.
Both new signings have set their eyes on a third promotion in four seasons in 2019/20, with Manager Jon Maloney hopeful his two new additions can make an immediate impact.
“I think players like Rosie and Beth can push us to that next level, we’ll be taking nothing for granted, but we want to finish above where we did last year and see where that takes us.”
“There is no doubt that the league has got some really good sides, like the North East teams and Ossett United who have come up this year.
“Both new signings bring a lot of pace, they are athletic and get about the pitch, but also have really good quality which is exactly what we are looking for to push to that next stage.”
Maloney’s side’s pre-season gets underway with a fixture against Leeds Utd Development on Sunday 21
st July, with Billericay, Brighouse and Wakefield to follow before the League Cup gets underway at the end of August.
