Harrogate Town AFC are delighted to announce a partnership with Planet League.
Planet League is the competition where fans get to win a trophy for their club - by taking real action on climate change.
Supporters can ‘score goals’ for Harrogate Town AFC by completing a range of activities that are beneficial for the planet.
We join 75 other clubs across the professional leagues in England in the campaign, which has seen more than 75,000 climate actions completed already.
The next Planet League tournament, where fans can help the Harrogate to the top, will kick off on Monday 10 October. It’s a five week new format tournament with green activities for home, work, school and football.
Rich Holmes, head of partnerships at Planet League, said: “We’re delighted that Harrogate Town AFC have joined 75 other football clubs across the country in partnering with us to do their bit to tackle climate change in a fun and impactful way.
“We can’t wait to see how the Harrogate fans and community engage and make an impact in our next competition.”
The Planet League Cup tournament will run from Monday 10 October until Sunday 13 November - we’re calling on all fans and members of the community to get involved and help us climb the league!
