Player Development Centre (PDC)
Our Boys PDC is designed to introduce players of all ages into the world of football. We encourage friendship, enjoyment and young local footballers to be creative in their play.
Our coaching team aims to inspire your child to find their own personal pathway in sport and football and welcome boys of all abilities to join and participate.
Advanced Player Development Centre (APDC)
The APDC is designed to help in the further development of young local footballers. Players will learn the importance
of working hard, working as a team, developing themselves both on and off the pitch.
Our coaching team will provide each player with further game understanding with a view to progressing towards a potential full time opportunity in football.
APDC is accessible via a four week trial period in the PDC (two sessions per week).
Pathways
Pathways from our PDC include progression into our Academy, USA scholarship and first team.
Our Player Development Centre takes place at St John Fishers state of the art 3G PItch.
All coaching programmes focus on: confidence building, ball control, dribbling, turning, passing techniques, movement off the ball, attacking and goal scoring principles, defending and small sided games.
PDC members can also benefit from discounts at our seasonal soccer camps.
The programme is not intended to infringe on players representing their local grassroots clubs, but does provide the opportunity for talented players to access extra contact time with professional coaches. Furthermore, the choice of evening offered enables the child to take part in other additional activities.
Our lead coaches are UEFA/FA Qualified with support coaches having a minimum FA Level 2 Qualification, while everyone involved in the coaching sessions holds a fully enhanced DBS certification, an up to-date Safeguarding Children qualification and Emergency Aid qualification.
