We are delighted to welcome seven new Academy scholars to the club ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Forward Elijah Samuels has joined the club from Basford United, while Leicester based attacking midfielder Josh Brodella also moves up from the Midlands.
Midfielder Ollie Nicholson has joined the ranks having left Hull City, while our Academy defense has been bolstered by the arrivals of James Moorby and Lewis Smalley.
The final two new additions to our Academy squad, Alfie Lee and Cadarn Taylor, have come through our own ranks via the Player Development Centre, as recently revealed.

"We are very excited to welcome our 2022/23 cohort into the Academy." Added Academy Manager Paul Stansfield.
"The Academy has had a good first year and the boys have thoroughly enjoyed their experience. They have performed well in the league this year against much older opponents and eight out of ten scholars have been included in the first team squad, which demonstrates the support and link with Simon, Thirs and the first team squad.
"We are extremely excited about the year ahead and the talented group of boys that are coming through. I am sure with the influx of new talent with what we have already we will have a very successful year and the boys will continue to develop if they demonstrate the attitude they have shown so far.
"We cannot wait for pre season as we have been invited by the LFE to go on a tour of Holland in August which will unite the group and help development."
Our new intake were in attendance on Saturday for the first time, watching as our first team overcame Carlisle United at The EnviroVent Stadium.

Our Academy side have just two fixtures remaining in their inaugural season, travelling to Huddersfield on Saturday 30th April before finishing the season at home to Burton Albion on Saturday 7th May.
