Josh Law Joins as Head PDC Coach

We’re delighted to announce Josh Law has joined the club as Head of Youth Coaching and PDC Head Coach.

Most recently with Basford United, Josh has had a professional football career spanning over ten years and has made over 400 senior appearances for the likes of York City, Oldham, Motherwell and Alfreton.
 
During his spell in the Scottish Premiership, Law would sample European football, scoring twice for Motherwell in the Europa League.
 
The 32-year-old came through Chesterfield’s Academy system and comes from a footballing background, his Dad Nicky is the current Head of Youth Recruitment at Burnley FC having previously managed Alfreton, Buxton, Grimsby, Bradford City and Chesterfield.
 
Josh’s older brother Nicky is also a professional footballer, having played for eight clubs including Rangers and Sheffield United over a 16-year career.
 
Later in his playing career, Josh moved into coaching, taking charge of Basford United’s Academy side.
 
In his new role of Head of Youth Coaching, Josh will be looking to continue his journey as a young coach, working with other talented players and coaches within the club.
