Harrogate Town AFC Look for Donations to Brighten up Christmas

03/12/21

Over the next few weeks in the build-up to Christmas, Harrogate Town AFC and the Community Foundation are looking to support local charities and causes, asking for donations of much-needed items.

Every year players, staff, supporters and the general public have stepped up to donate items to those less fortunate or those who need a boost during a tough time. The last two years have been a monumental struggle for everyone and it's only right that as a football club we look out for our local community and see if we can help in any way possible.

This year's Christmas Donations will support a number of local charities, including: Harrogate District Food Bank, Resurrected Bites, Harrogate Hospital, Harrogate Homeless Project and SASH. We are asking for donations for specific items that will be distributed to all these charities just before Christmas.

Iain Service, Community Foundation Manager explains, “It is vitally important that we support local causes and those people in need over the festive period. The Club has a long history of these types of donations, along with the generosity of supporters with past shirt auctions and other initiatives”.

Items from the list will also be donated from 1st team players, co-ordinated via captain Josh Falkingham as well as all Club and Community programmes.

If you wish to join us and donate any of the listed items (up to Wednesday 22nd December) you can drop them at:

(10am-4pm / Mon, Tue, Thu, FRI, Sat)

PLUS on the 4th December only
